CARAMEL POPCORN 
4 qts. popped popcorn
1 c. brown sugar
1/4 c. pancake syrup
1 stick butter
1/8 tsp. cream of tartar
1/4 tsp. baking soda
Pinch of salt

Pop popcorn and place in large mixing bowl. Combine brown sugar, syrup and butter in pot and cook on stove top. Bring to a boil. Boil for 5 minutes. Remove from stove and add cream of tartar, baking soda and salt. Stir well. Pour over popcorn. Stir to coat well as pouring. Put popcorn on cookie sheet or shallow pan. Bake at 200 degrees for 45 minutes. Stir to mix and break up occasionally.
