BAKED BEANS 
1 lb. dried Navy beans
1 sm. onion, finely chopped
1/2 lb. bacon or ham (use grease)
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 tsp. salt
2 c. tomato juice
2 tsp. mustard
1/4 c. catsup
1/2 c. molasses (golden)
1/2 c. brown sugar

Soak beans overnight and then cook soft. Add the rest of the ingredients and put in a roast pan or 3-quart casserole dish. Bake 1 hour at 350 degrees.
