THICK HOT FUDGE SAUCE 
4 tbsp. butter
4 sq. unsweetened chocolate (4 oz.)
2/3 c. boiling water
2 c. sugar
1/4 c. light corn syrup
1/4 tsp. salt
2 tsp. vanilla

Melt butter in heavy 8 quart saucepan over low heat. Add chocolate and let melt. Stir in water, sugar, corn syrup and salt. Bring to boil over medium heat. Cook without stirring until thick, dark and glossy, about 8 minutes. Stir in vanilla. Serve over ice cream. Makes about 2 cups.
