EASY OATMEAL COOKIES 
1 c. sugar
1 c. butter
1 c. flour
2 c. Quick Oats
1 tsp. baking soda (sifted with flour)

Preheat oven to 350°F.

Mix with hands -- form small balls and flatten on ungreased pan.

Bake for 8-12 minutes (depends on size of cookies made).

Variations: add 1 tsp. vanilla, applesauce, mashed bananas, cinnamon, raisins, cranberries, chopped nuts, etc. Agave syrup or honey can be substituted for sugar, if desired.

I made these and first batch was crumbly and tasted bland. I added salt and half cup maple syrup. Second batch was better but, not great.

I added 1/2 cup more butter cause as I was mixing it wasn't folding right. 12 drops of vanilla extract & 14 dashes of cinnamon Baked 17 minutes, just perfect soft & gooey!

In a family of five picky eaters , it was awesome to find a cookie recipe unanimously praised by everyone ! This was the simplest recipe I found and they came out moist and crumbly ...the one adjustment I made was I reduced the sugar by half (I use brown sugar ) and added just a dash of almond milk to make the batter stick together better before baking. Will definitely be making these again

Very good and easy recipe. I added 1 egg, 2 tsp. vanilla and some cran-apple cinnamon spice!! Baked for 15 minutes. Made large cookies. Yummy!!

A bit dry so I melted butter and added cocoa powder and honey. I'm far from any type of skill when it comes to cooking, I think I did fine, kid and husband weren't too confident and didn't try them :)
