I found the recipe to be to dry.... cookies hard and brittle. I remade batter and added two eggs...... GREAT. Soft and fluffy.... just wanted to let you know. Happy baking :)

I have to say, everyone might think they are better with egg added, but I was looking for a recipe, because I have a sweet tooth and no milk or eggs. I thought these were quite good considering. I cut the recipe in half and then added an extra table spoon of margarine and a tablespoon of water. They came out soft and not too dry.

Yummy and savory. I added half cup grated cheddar cheese and half cup onions --- (didn't use the eggs).

My boyfriend and I, were looking for a sweet treat, but didn't have any eggs. Boy, are we glad we found this recipe! For the most part, I followed the recipe. The only variation I made was I added a tbsp of margarine (I actually used it for the entirety of the recipe), half a cup of peanut butter and I added a little vanilla flavored half and half. I see a lot of users saying without the eggs they were dry. Not the case!! They were super, super tasty! Will definitely make again.

No eggs, no cutting in half. Simply melt the butter and bam. Bomb shell cookies. These are my fav since I've gotten pregnant.

Used wheat flour instead. I also added a teaspoon of vanilla because I didn't have a lot of cinnamon. They were delicious! Will definitely make again!

Reading this recipe it seem to me to be a base recipe so you can add to or leave it way it is. After reading comments this is so true! But this is awesome for little children that want to help at this time of year make cookies. Loved all your comments. Enjoy baking.

LOVE this recipe. I made it with brown sugar instead of regular sugar and kept a very careful eye on it and the cookies turned out WONDERFUL. My boyfriend and I ate an entire half batch in one sitting without even meaning to!

My 2 year old daughter and I made this together it was a lot of fun. Good recipe for this age because there were simple ingredients so she could keep up well. The first batch was a disappointment I missed the comment about adding that extra 1/2 cup of flour...I kinda thought it needed it but by the time I realized the first batch was out on the cookie sheet and with a 2 year old you don't turn back. :0) I added the flour to the rest and put it all in the fridge to get the butter to cool a bit. They turned out better but still kinda cumbly and brittle (and I added 2 eggs!). Not the perfect plump cookies I was looking for but they DO taste great!

Hi! I added the two eggs but also two bananas, chocolate chips and 1/2 cup more of flour. I added the chocolate chips in second last and then melted the butter and added it in last and then mixed all of it together so the chocolate chips melted in the bowl. After about 10 mins in the oven it made the yummiest fluffy cookies that taste like a breakfast bar!

This is such a yummy recipe and super easy to make. I'm no baker but was able to bake them easily first time. I took up the suggestions to add eggs, wholemeal flour instead of normal flour, cinnamon and raisins. Second time I added coconut and they were so delicious. I definitely recommend this recipe to anyone. Oh, found out that 15min cooking time was good too. Thanks for the advice all previous commenters :)

Yummy easy recipe! I added the two eggs and baked for approximately 10 minutes. I also added some coconut and chopped walnuts for a healthy addition. These were soft yet crispy. Will definitely make again.

The original recipe was great by itself, I tasted the mix, and very easily could have ate the entire bowl, although when I added the egg, and a tsp. of vanilla the cookies turn out soft, fluffy, and delicious!!! :)

I made these cookies and added the extra two eggs and extra 1/2 cup of flour.. However, I used Splenda instead of sugar. I'm not sure I like them that much. It leaves a taste of Splenda after every bite.. I also topped it off with glaze i made. They are still very dry! I'm not sure what went wrong.. any suggestions???

If you add one tsp. salt and one tablespoon of vanilla and two tablespoon of Cinnamon, two eggs you have a great cookie. If not its dry and tasteless.

Hello, I added 1 egg, dried cranberries, a little extra flour, cinnamon, and vanilla extract. 10 minutes for soft and 12 for almost crumbly at 350°F. Oh yeah, also half and half sugar to brown sugar. Awesome.

I added the 2 eggs and extra 1/2 cup of flour. I also used cinnamon roll instant oatmeal packets. This recipe is fun and easy:) My son wouldn't put his hands in it because he said it looked yucky but I did. Lots of fun for all ages!

I added 1 egg, cinnamon, raisins, vanilla, 1/2 cup extra flour and topped with coconut. They were fabulous! Taste so much like a bowl of hot oatmeal. I wanted to add butter. I would recommend these as a thank you gift or any occasion of gift giving.

Loved this recipe, so easy and fast. I did ad the 2 eggs and a package of crushed nut topping. The nuts made it a little dry so I added another egg and they were amazing!!
