First time making white gravy and this was the bomb! The kids loved it, so that is what matters most! I doubled the quantities since we are a family of 6 and it was a lot! But I can use if for breakfast tomorrow! I first only did 4 cups of milk but it was a little too thick, so I added the last cup! Taste great and very simple to make! Thank you, thank you!

This was great! My first time trying to cook! I added dried beef in the gravy and adjusted milk and flour until I had a perfect thickness.

Great recipe, thank you! To make smoother gravy, I suggest using a whisk while stirring in the milk. It works everytime for me!

Try this by cooking sausage patties first, then uses the grease from the patties you just cooked like you would for the butter right in the same pan, when the gravy is almost done, crumble the sausage into it, great for biscuits and gravy.

I tried to make this, the flavor was tasty. I messed it up I think by using almond milk, then I ran out of Almond milk and had to use evaporated milk and it made it thick and lumpy. I'm going to try it again because it still was tasty.

Just made this with breakfast. Hash browns and eggs. Didn't fit well like how my sausage gravy does but this would be good on southern style biscuits.

This is the only way I make white gravy! This is the way my Mama made it and this is the only white gravy I love! I won't use or eat the greasy kind with pan dripping! I LOVE this gravy and glad to see a recipe like my Mama used!!

This is the basic recipe for Dried Beef Gravy or Chipped Dried Beef and Gravy! Of course veteran military members in my family call it "Sh!t on a shingle" !The recipe is on the back of the package. Just add the dried beef. Salt isn't needed. The dried beef has got enough salt on its own! Spread over toast and YUM!
