1/2 lb. flour (3-4 c. or so) 4 tbsp. sour cream 3 egg yolks Pinch of salt Oil for frying Powdered sugar (10X) Make dough of first 4 ingredients (use enough flour so you can roll it). Divide the dough in 3 pieces - cover it to prevent drying. Roll pieces very thin 1 at a time. Cut with the knife strips about 6-7 inches long and 1 1/2 inches wide. In the middle of each piece, cut 2 inch opening and pull 1 end through it. Heat oil in pan and fry cookies quick on each side. Remove on paper towel to absorb extra oil. Sprinkle on powdered sugar. |
