HOMEMADE ICE CREAM 
2 pkgs. Knox unflavored gelatin
2 c. milk
2 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
6 eggs
1 1/2 qts. half and half
1 pkg. instant vanilla pudding
3 or 4 tsp. vanilla

Beat eggs for 5 minutes. Soften gelatin in 1/2 cup cold water. Scald milk; slowly stir in gelatin until dissolved. Add sugar and salt until dissolved. Add beaten eggs, half and half, pudding (vanilla). Pour into ice cream freezer.
