FRENCH FRIED ONION RINGS 
3 med. onions, cut into 1/2 inch thick slices
2 1/2 c. flour, wheat, general purpose, sifted
2 1/8 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
1 1/4 c. milk

Separate onion slices into rings. Dredge onion rings in mixture of flour, salt, and pepper; shake off excess. Save remaining seasoned flour for use later. Dip floured onion rings into milk. Drain well. Dredge each onion ring in remaining seasoned flour until well coated; shake off excess. Fry 2 minutes or until golden brown. Drain well in basket or an absorbent paper.
