ALMOND BUTTER TOFFEE 
1 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 c. water
1 tsp. vanilla
1 stick butter
1 oz. chopped nuts
1/2 of 8 oz. Hershey bar

Place stick of butter in 2 quart glass bowl. Pour sugar directly on butter. Add salt and water. Place bowl in microwave and cook full power 1 minute. Then add 30 second intervals until color of brown sugar. Mix well and add vanilla. Pour on greased cookie sheet and spread thin. Melt chocolate about 1 1/2 minutes. Spread over candy and sprinkle nuts over. Place in freezer 15 minutes or refrigerate 1 hour. Remove and break into pieces.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
