CHOCOLATE COVERED CHERRIES 
1 lb. powdered sugar
1/2 c. butter
1 tsp. cream or Carnation milk
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 stick paraffin wax
1 (12 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips
1 lg. jar Maraschino cherries

Work together the sugar and butter like pie dough. Add cream and vanilla. Mix and form into small balls around drained cherries. Chill 1 to 2 hours. In heavy pan, melt wax on low heat. Add chocolate chips. Dip balls into chocolate until coated using 2 forks. Put on waxed paper to cool.
