ORIENTAL BEEF WITH PEPPERS 
1 1/2 tbsp. vegetable oil
1 lb. lean beef, cut in thin slices
1 c. beef bouillon
1 tbsp. soy sauce
1/4 tsp. powdered ginger
1 clove garlic, crushed
1 c. green peppers
2 tbsp. cornstarch
2 tbsp. water
2 tbsp. dry sherry (optional)

Heat pan; add oil and garlic. When garlic turns brown, remove from heat. Add beef and fry a few minutes (2 to 4) or until meat slices are no longer red. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Add bouillon, soy sauce and remaining ingredients. Cook until tender.
