POUND CAKE 
3 c. sugar
2 stick butter
1/2 c. Crisco
1/4 tsp. salt
3 1/4 c. Wonder cake flour
2 eggs
2 tbsp. butter nut flavoring
3/4 c. can milk, adding water to make 1 cup

Cream sugar, butter and Crisco together until smooth. Add one egg at a time and beat well. Add flavoring and alternate with milk. Put in cold oven, set heat at 325 degrees and bake 1 hour and 40 minutes. Use a 10 inch tube pan and grease lightly.
