SPARERIBS 
3 lb. lean spareribs
Salt and pepper
1/2 c. diced onion
2 (8 oz.) cans tomato sauce
1/4 c. brown sugar
1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
1/3 c. vinegar
Juice from #2 can of pineapple
1/2 tsp. dry mustard

Cut after third rib about 1/2 through. Sprinkle with salt and pepper. Place in shallow roasting pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 1/4 hours. While ribs are roasting, mix remaining ingredients and let stand to blend flavors. Pour over ribs after 1 1/4 hours baking. Bake 45 to 50 minutes longer basting frequently to coat ribs with sauce.
