STIR-FRIED CABBAGE | |
5 c. (about 1 lb.) shredded cabbage (Chinese cabbage, red cabbage, green cabbage or Savoy cabbage) 3 tbsp. peanut oil 1 tbsp. sugar 1 tsp. salt Dash ground black pepper 1 tbsp. white vinegar 1. Prepare shredded cabbage first, set aside on platter. 2. Preheat wok or skillet about 3 minutes; add peanut oil. Turn heat to moderate, stir-fry cabbage for 3 minutes. 3. Add sugar, salt, pepper and vinegar. Cook, stirring constantly until cabbage is tender, but crisp, about 3 minutes. Serves 4. |
