BUTTER BAKED CARROT STICKS 
1 lb. carrots
2 tsp. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
Few grains white pepper
4 tbsp. butter

Pare carrots, cut in 3 inch long sticks. Place in shallow quart baking dish. Sprinkle seasonings - dot with butter. Cover with foil. Bake in 400 degree oven about 45 minutes until tender.
