MEAT BALL COVOY (INDIA) 
1 tbsp. oil
1 lg. onion
3 tsp. curry powder
1 can stewed tomatoes
6 whole cloves
1 stick cinnamon
1/2 tsp. turmeric
2 tbsp. coconut
3 bay leaves
1 1/2 tsp. chili powder
1 1/2 tsp. ginger
2 tbsp. chili sauce

FOR MEAT BALLS:

1 lb. ground beef
1 egg
1/2 tsp. salt and pepper (each)
1 1/2 tsp. curry powder

Heat oil and cook onions. Add other ingredients; simmer. Mix all meat ball ingredients together and form into small balls. Brown them and then add to the sauce. Serve over rice.
