1 (1 lb.) pkg. confectioners sugar
1 c. Crisco shortening
3 eggs
2 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. milk
1 tsp. vanilla

Combine shortening, confectioners sugar, and blend well. Add eggs and beat until light and fluffy on high speed for 3 minutes. Sift flour, salt, and baking powder together and add it to the shortening, sugar, etc. gradually with milk. Add vanilla. Beat at medium speed until fluffy. Bake at 350 degrees in a greased and lightly floured tube pan or 13 x 9 inch pan until done.
