WEDDING POUND CAKE 
4 cups cake flour, sift 4 times
1 lb. (4 sticks) butter
3 cups sugar
6 eggs, one at a time
2/3 cup milk

Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs, one at a time. Beat after each addition. Add flour and milk alternately, a little at a time. Grease and flour tube pan or 2 loaf pans.

Bake in 350°F oven for 1 hour 10 minutes.

DREAM FROSTING:

1 cup water or milk
1/2 tsp. vanilla
5 heaping tbsp. flour
1/2 lb. (2 sticks) butter
1 cup granulated sugar

Stir flour and water or milk over heat until thick. Cook, then cream butter, sugar, and vanilla until light and fluffy. Beat water mixture into butter mixture at high speed until it resembles whipped cream.
