1 c. sugar
1/2 c. oil
1/2 tsp. ground cloves
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 c. applesauce with 1 tsp. baking powder
1 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
2 sm. boxes raisins

Mix sugar, oil, cloves, cinnamon and applesauce in bowl. Stir well. Add the flour mixture slowly until well blended. Add raisins. Mix. Pour into a 8 x 8-inch greased and floured pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes or until center springs back. Frost when cool.

FROSTING:

1 lb. box confectioners' sugar
Add milk until stiff

1 tsp. vanilla
2 tbsp. butter
