POPCORN - GUMDROP CAKE 
1 c. butter
1 lb. marshmallows
5 qt. popped corn
1/2 lb. roasted peanuts
1 lb. sm. gumdrops
Gumdrop flowers (optional)

Combine butter and marshmallows in a large Dutch oven; cook over low heat, stirring constantly until marshmallows melt. Add popcorn, peanuts and 1 pound gum drops, stirring until blended. Press mixture into a well greased 10 inch tube pan. Chill until firm. Invert cake onto serving plate and garnish with gumdrop flowers, if desired.

Note: To make gumdrop flowers use 1 large gumdrop for each flower. To make rose, set a gumdrop upright on counter, slice into thirds vertically, flatten each third into an oval by rolling with a rolling pin on a surface sprinkled with granulated sugar.
