GERMAN CHOCOLATE UPSIDE-DOWN
CAKE
 
1 (4 oz.) can coconut
1 c. pecans, broken
1 box German chocolate cake mix
1 stick butter, melted
1 (8 oz.) cream cheese, softened
1 box confectioners sugar

Generously grease 9 x 13-inch pan. Sprinkle coconut and pecans in bottom of pan. Mix cake mix according to directions. Pour batter over coconut and pecans. Mix together remaining ingredients. Drop by spoonfuls over batter.

Bake for 35 to 40 minutes at 350°F. After cake cools, cut and turn over to serve. It is hard to determine when done. Watch closely. When cake begins to pull away from sides of pan, take from oven.
