WHISKEY OR RUM SAUCE 
1/4 c. white sugar
1/2 c. brown sugar
2 tbsp. flour
1/2 c. water
3 tbsp. butter

Mix all together and cook until thick, stirring constantly. Remove from heat and add 1/4 cup whiskey (or 1/4 cup amber rum). Serve warm. Delicious over bread pudding, gingerbread, apple or mincemeat pie, etc.
