RUM BUTTER SAUCE 
1 c. cream
1/2 lb. butter
1 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
1 or 2 tbsp. rum

In a saucepan simmer cream, butter, sugar and salt until thoroughly heated. Remove from heat, stir in vanilla and rum. Serve warm.
