Rice (white preferred) Eggs (1 or 2) Soy sauce Leftovers from the week Oil Pepper Chop and dice the leftovers from the week (pork chops, chicken, bacon). Include raw vegetables such as onions, carrots, or broccoli. In a large frying pan or wok, saute any vegetables or meats in a little bit of oil. When mixture is heated, add the rice. W hip together 1 or 2 eggs, depending on the size of the mixture. Add soy sauce to taste and continue stirring over medium heat until egg is cooked. Add pepper to taste and serve. For variation use spaghetti noodles in place of the rice. You then have made yaki-soba. |
