This is the best brownie mix i've ever tasted. The batter alone was WONDERFUL. Instead of nuts and chocolate chips i used chopped up heath bars. It was wonderful. Thanks for the great recipe.

Best brownies ever. I have made these several times. I have always had to bake for at least 40-45 minutes. It could be the type of pan I am using. When mixing make sure to stir just enough to mix properly. Believe it or not you can stir too much. I usually put all ingredients in a bowl and usually only stir it for about 60 strokes.

Made this recipe & it was super moist & delicious. I added half a cup more vegetable oil than required & also put Hershey's syrup in the mix to give it more of a bolder chocolate flavor. When I put in pan I put a,little more Hershey syrup on top for a design & also because I love my brownies extra moist & fudgy. They came out perfect. I'll never buy box brownies again!

I made this and added a half cup more vegetable oil; so it had 1.5 cups of vegetable oil, I didn't use nuts; I used 1/4 cup of heath chips and 1/2 cup of semi-sweet chocolate chips. I added some Hershey's Chocolate Syrup as needed. I didn't stir it very much, just enough to mix it all together and I baked it for about 26 minutes. While it was still warm, I poured some melted secret recipe icing. I took some to my friends house and everyone loved it! I'll never be using a mix again!

Very good recipe, simple too. I used coconut oil and added pecans and coconut flakes (instead of choc. Chips). Delish!

 Susan (Ohio) says:
The first time making these, they were thin and hard. I baked them again today, added the extra half cup of oil, used Wesson Best Blend. I did not use chocolate chips or nuts, due to so many people being allergic to nuts and my son said, "these were AWESOME!" The things I changed was, beating only a few strokes, to completely mix ingredients, after adding them all together. Before, I mixed after each addition. I changed the temperature, from 350°F, to 325°F. & baked for 26 minutes, in a Non - Stick 9" X 13". Baking times and temperatures change, when using a shiny metal pan compared to a non - stick pan.

Instead of nuts I added Andre's mints. I cut each candy into 4 pieces about a 1 1/2 cups. Yummy!!!
