PORK CHOPS IN ORANGE SAUCE 
6 pork chops, 3/4 to 1 inch thick
Vegetable oil
1 env. dry onion soup mix
1 c. orange juice
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 orange, peeled and cut into 6 slices (optional)

Brown chops on both sides in hot oil. Combine soup, orange juice, and pepper; pour over chops. Heat to boiling; reduce heat and cook, covered, for 45 minutes. Add orange slices; cook 15 minutes longer or until chops are tender.
