FLORENCE MAUER'S OVEN BEEF STEW 
1 1/2 lbs. cubed beef
3 potatoes
3 carrots
2 stalks celery
2 halved onions
1 can tomatoes
1 1/2 c. water
3 tbsp. minute tapioca
1 tbsp. sugar
3 tsp. salt

Bake in covered Dutch oven for 5 hours at 275 degrees.
