PEGGY'S CHEESE CAKE 
2 (8 oz.) cream cheese, softened to room temp.
1 pt. whipping cream
1 c. sugar
2 tsp. vanilla
3 pkgs. lady fingers

Chill bowl and beaters, then using chilled bowl and beaters, whip the whipping cream. Place whipped cream in freezer. Mix cream cheese, sugar and vanilla; fold this mixture into the whipped cream.

Line a 9 inch spring form pan (bottom and sides) with lady finger halves. Pour 1/2 of mixture over lady fingers. Add another layer of lady finger halves, top with remaining mixture. Garnish with strawberries and keep in the refrigerator until ready to serve.
