TOMATO PUDDING | |
1 (#2) can whole tomatoes 4-6 slices white toast, cubed 6 slices bacon 1 med. onion, diced 1 c. American cheese, cubed 1 c. green pepper, diced 1/2 c. brown sugar 1/4 c. white sugar Salt and pepper Cube bacon and brown in a large fry pan. Drain on paper towels. In same pan saute onions and peppers until onions are clear. Add both sugars. Cook until it bubbles. Add diced toast and stir. Add tomatoes, crush by hand (call the kids for this - Edit.). Add seasoning to taste. Stir cook for a few minutes while you preheat oven to 350 degrees and grease a baking dish. |
