WON TON SOUP | |
12 1/2 c. water 1/2 recipe ready-made raw won tons 6 c. chicken stock 1/2 tsp. salt 1 tbsp. light soy sauce 1/2 head bok choy sliced thin or spinach 1 scallion, cut into 1 inch pieces 1/2 lb. BBQ pork, sliced thin or Boston Butt or chicken 1 tbsp. sesame seed oil 1. In large pot bring 12 cups water to boil. Add won tons. Bring to boil again. Add remaining water. Bring to boil once more. When won tons float to surface, they are ready to be removed to strainer. Rinse under cold water. 2. Bring stock to boil in pot. Add salt, soy sauce and bok choy. Boil 1 minute. Add scallions and BBQ pork. Drop won tons gently into soup from strainer. Add sesame seed oil. Boil 1 minute. Serves 6. |
