MELT IN YOUR MOUTH CAKE | |
2 c. cake flour 2 tsp. baking powder 1/2 tsp. salt 1/2 c. butter or Crisco 1 c. sugar 2 eggs 1 c. pineapple Beat until well mixed. Add 3/4 cup of milk alternately with the flour mixture. Then add a teaspoon of vanilla. With spoon, mix until all ingredients are well blended, then beat until creamy and thick with mixer. Bake in three layers in a 375 degree oven for 25 minutes. Note: Can also be cooked in square pan or in 2 layers. May use lemon filling as frosting. |
