BOSTON FRUIT SALAD 
2 pkgs. lemon flavored gelatin
2 c. hot water
2 c. cold water
4 to 5 lg. bananas
24 miniature marshmallows
2 c. crushed pineapple, well drained, reserve juice

Mix gelatin with hot water until dissolved. Add cold water and chill until syrupy. Add fruit and marshmallows. Refrigerate until set and then add topping.

TOPPING:

1 egg, beaten
1 c. pineapple juice
1/3 c. sugar
2 tbsp. flour
2 tbsp. butter
3/4 heavy cream, whipped

Cook egg, pineapple juice, sugar, flour and butter in double boiler over low heat until thick. Cool. Add whipped cream to cooled mixture. Spread over the set gelatin and return to refrigerator for one hour or until serving time.
