MEXICAN GROUND BEEF | |
1 1/2 lb. ground beef 1 large onion, chopped 1 1/2 tbsp. all-purpose flour 1 tbsp. chili powder 1 tsp. garlic powder 1 tsp. salt 1/4 tsp. black pepper 1/4 tsp. ground cumin 1/4 tsp. rubbed sage 3/4 c. water Cook ground beef and onion in a large skillet until meat is browned, stirring to crumble meat. (I add about 1/2 cup water. This makes the meat crumble real well. I then cook the water dry.) Drain. Add flour and seasonings. Cook 1 minute, stirring constantly. Gradually add water. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat to low and simmer, uncovered, for about 15 minutes. Can be used for tacos, burritos, taco salad, etc. |
