GRAM'S WHITE BREAD
3 c. warm water
2 pkg. dry yeast
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1/3 c. sugar
2 tbsp. oil
Approximately 9-10 c. unbleached white flour

Dissolve yeast in water; add salt, sugar and oil. Add 8 cups flour gradually. Add enough additional flour to make a stiff unsticky dough. Knead 10 minutes. Let rise in a warm place (85 degrees is good), about 1 hour or until doubled. Divide into loaf-sized portions and cover and let rest 15 minutes. Roll out; form into loaves.

Put in 3 or 4 well-greased aluminum pans (depending on size) and let rise again for 1 hour. Bake at 350 degrees on bottom shelf about 30 to 35 minutes. Remove from pans immediately and cool on rack.
