1 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. shortening
1 egg
2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. vanilla
3/4 c. crushed pineapple

Cream shortening, add sugar and mix well. Add eggs and mix in can pineapple. Mix well. Add flour, soda, vanilla. Drop by teaspoon on cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees until light brown.
