1 c. cold water 1 c. corn meal 1 tsp. salt 3 c. boiling water Mix corn meal, cold water and salt. Slowly pour mixture into boiling water. Cover and cook 15 minutes on low heat. Stir as needed. | |

Was looking for something easy to make with cornmeal and this was a hit! Used sausage gravy on top and my grandson had it with sugar. Reminded me of Polenta! Will be making this again!

A meal from my childhood!! I hadn't had it in many years and when I bought a bag of cornmeal, I thought about it. The recipe isn't even on the bag anymore! I want just butter on it. YUM!
