LINGUINI WITH CLAM SAUCE 
3 oz. linguini
1 tsp. unsalted butter
1 clove minced garlic
3 1/4 oz. minced garlic, drained (but reserve 1/2 juice from can)
1/8 c. white wine
1/8 tsp. pepper
1/8 c. minced parsley
1 tbsp. Parmesan cheese

1. Cook linguini in boiling, salted water.

2. Meanwhile, melt butter in skillet and add garlic - cooking over medium heat for one minute.

3. Add clams, and cook another minute.

4. Add wine, pepper and one tablespoon of reserved juice.

5. Cook 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.

6. Drain pasta - transfer to serving bowl.

7. Add clam sauce, parsley and Parmesan.

8. Toss and serve.
