2 sticks butter
1 c. sugar

Add 1 egg. Sift:

3 c. cake flour
1 tsp. baking soda

Add flour to cream mixture. Add 1 teaspoon vanilla. Roll into 4 or 5 logs about 1 inch in diameter. Freeze. Slice and bake at 350 degrees.
