LEMON TEACAKES 
PART I:

2 c. sifted flour
2 sticks butter
1/2 c. sifted confectioners' sugar

Mix in order given. Press in a 13 x 9 x 2 pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes.

PART 2:

4 eggs
1 1/2 c. sugar
Grated rind of 1 lemon juice
4 tbsp. lemon
4 tbsp. flour
1 tsp. baking powder

Blend eggs and other ingredients. Pour over baked layer while hot. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 to 25 minutes. Dust with 4x sugar. Cut into squares.
