SEVEN LAYER SALAD OR 24 HOUR
LETTUCE SALAD
 
1 head lettuce
1/4 c. chopped onions
1/4 c. chopped celery
1 c. sliced water chestnuts
1 pkg. frozen English peas
2 c. mayonnaise
3 tsp. sugar
Parmesan cheese
Bacon bits

1. Shred lettuce.

2. Layer lettuce, onions, celery and water chestnuts.

3. Break peas apart and spread over top.

4. Cover with mayonnaise.

5. Sprinkle on sugar.

6. Completely seal with Parmesan cheese.

7. Top with bacon bits (just before serving). Refrigerate overnight.
