BISQUICK CINNAMON ROLLS
1 egg
3/4 c. milk
1/2 c. sugar
3 c. Bisquick
2 tbsp. melted butter
2 tsp. cinnamon

Heat oven to 350°F.

Beat egg, add Bisquick and milk. Stir to make soft dough.

Knead lightly, just until smooth. Pat or roll out into rectangle 10 x 8 inches. Spread with butter. Sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar. Roll up tightly beginning with wide side. Seal well by pinching edge of dough into roll. Place sealed side down on ungreased baking sheet.

Make cuts with scissors almost through roll at 1 inch intervals. If desired form roll in crescent.

Bake 15-20 minutes. While warm, glaze top with mixture of 1/4 cup confectioners' sugar and 2 teaspoons warm water.

Usually when recipes disappear from boxes you can call the customer service number and they will send it to you. Another option, since Bisquick is a Betty Crocker product, you might be able to find this recipe in a BC cookbook. I have two that I bought many years ago, and the same recipe is in both.

This is a great recipe considering it's very easy to make and the items used to make it are usually in every household. However, the amounts of time for baking and measurements of confections' sugar plus water are incorrect.

First, the cinnamon rolls actually only take 10 minutes to bake. And, I cut them much wider than 1 inch intervals, so you might want to watch your rolls while they are baking.

Second, 1/4 cup confectioners' sugar and 2 teaspoons of water are not nearly enough, unless you would like dime sized drops of glaze on each roll. It's best to actually quadruple the amounts need. So, 1 cup confectioners' sugar, and 8 teaspoons of warm water.

Oh, I almost forgot to mention that 2 tablespoons of melted butter is not nearly enough. Two was only enough to spread over half of the dough, so I would suggest doubling that as well.

Otherwise, this is a great recipe and the rolls are very tasty!
