CINNAMON ROLLS | |
4 1/2 to 5 c. all-purpose flour 1/2 c. sugar 1 tsp. salt 2 pkgs. dry yeast 1/2 c. (1 stick) butter 1/2 c. water 3/4 c. milk 2 eggs Measure 1 3/4 cups flour in mixing bowl. Stir in sugar, salt and yeast. Heat butter and water until butter is melted and add milk. Pour into flour mixture. Add eggs and beat at low speed for 3 minutes. Stir in remaining flour. Dough will be soft and rather sticky. Knead about 3 minutes. Cover dough with towel and let rest for 20 minutes. Roll out, spread with butter, sugar and cinnamon. Shape as desired. Let rise in warm place for 40-60 minutes. Bake at 350°F until golden brown. Submitted by: Margaret Long |
