1 c. flour
1 tsp. cinnamon
3/4 c. butter
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
3/4 tsp. baking soda
2 eggs
1 1/3 c. brown sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. oats

Sift all dry ingredients to mix well. Cream fat and sugar. Add eggs, alternately with dry's. Put in vanilla and beat until smooth. Place cookies on greased sheets and bake at 350 degrees for 12-15 minutes. Makes 3 1/2 dozen.
