PORK IN BARBECUE SAUCE
6 pork chops
1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
1/2 c. onion, minced
1/4 c. catsup
2 tbsp. vinegar
2 tbsp. brown sugar
1 tbsp. prepared mustard
1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper

Brown chops in frying pan, using a little oil, if necessary. Drain off fat. Combine sauce ingredients and pour over meat. Simmer, covered, for 45 minutes. 6 servings.

NOTE: In place of chops, use 3 cups cooked pork shoulder chunks; or fried chicken, or 3 cups cooked turkey chunks.

NOTE: We like to use just the sauce recipe as a homemade barbecue sauce for cooking out with any kind of meat.
