APPLE FRUIT CRISP 
1/2 c. quick rolled oats
1/2 c. packed brown sugar
1/4 c. all purpose flour
1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
1/4 c. butter
2 lbs. apples (6 med.)
2 tbsp. granulated sugar
Vanilla ice cream

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Combine oats, brown sugar, flour, cinnamon and dash of salt. Cut in butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Set aside. Peel, core and slice fruit to make 5 to 6 cups. Place fruit in 10"x6"x2" baking dish. Sprinkle with granulated sugar. Sprinkle crumb mixture over all. Bake in a 350 degree oven for 40 to 45 minutes. Serve with ice cream.
