4 lb. pork spareribs 1/2 c. catsup 4 tbsp. chile sauce 2 tbsp. brown sugar 2 tbsp. butter 2 tbsp. chopped onion 4 tsp. prepared mustard 2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce Dash garlic powder 4 thin lemon slices Simmer ribs, covered in salted water to cover until tender, about 45 to 60 minute; drain. Meanwhile, prepare sauce: In saucepan combine remaining ingredients. Bring mixture to boil. Remove from heat. Grill hot ribs over medium to low coals about 10 to 15 minutes on each side, brushing often with sauce. (Or place hot ribs in shallow roasting pan, pour sauce over. Bake at 350 degrees for about 20 to 25 minutes, basting with sauce occasionally.) |
