BEST CHOCOLATE CAKE EVER 
2 c. flour
2 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. water
1 stick butter
3/4 c. oil
2 tbsp. cocoa
2 eggs
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 c. buttermilk
1 tsp. vanilla

Mix first 3 ingredients together in a large bowl. Heat and blend together water, butter, oil and cocoa. Pour over first mixture. Add eggs. In a small bowl, mix together soda and buttermilk and add vanilla. Add second mixture to flour/sugar mixture and beat well. Pour into 11x16 inch pan and bake at 350 degrees for 35 minutes. Do not grease pan. Mixture is very thin.

ICING:

1 box confectioners' sugar
1 stick butter
3 tbsp. cocoa
6 tbsp. evaporated milk
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. nuts, chopped

Combine and heat until well blended, but do not boil. Pour over cake immediately when cake comes from oven.
