DATE KRISPIES 
5 c. Rice Krispies
1/2 lb. marshmallows
1/4 tsp. vanilla
1/4 c. butter
1 c. chopped dates

Cook butter and marshmallows over boiling water until syrupy, stirring frequently. Add vanilla and beat. Put Rice Krispies in large greased bowl, add dates and mix. Pour on marshmallow mixture, stirring briskly. Press into greased pan and cut into squares.
