ITALIAN CREAM CHEESE CAKE 
1 stick butter
1 c. vegetable oil
2 c. sugar
5 egg yolks and 5 white stiffly beaten
1 c. buttermilk
2 c. plain flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 c. pecans, chopped
1 sm. can coconut
1 tsp. vanilla

Cream butter, oil and sugar. Add egg yolks, beat well. Combine flour and soda, add to egg yolk mixture with buttermilk. Add vanilla and coconut and pecans and fold in egg whites.

ICING:

1 (8 oz.) cream cheese
1 box confectioners' sugar
1/2 stick butter
1 tsp. vanilla

Top with pecan halves.
